Stories from the Field
PBS Stories from the Field are brief illustrations of real life experiences with positive behavior support. Each story presents a case study example for practitioners. The lessons learned from each story will hopefully help orient consumers to PBS and provide examples of ways to overcome challenges in the implementation of PBS. Each Story from the Field includes a background, a clear description of the focus person and relevant context (who, when, where, why), the obstacles/barriers and enablers/resources encountered, assessment and intervention/support strategies developed, outcomes and plans for ongoing/future support, and a summary with lessons learned.The Behavior Support Plan developed for each of the cases is linked to the story. Additional sample behavior support plans for other cases may also be found on the Behavior Support Plan Index Page.
