Behavior Support Plans
A pool of different Behavior Support Plans has been compiled to demonstrate the variety in Plans and provide consumers with a better understanding of how Support Plans may be developed. Each focus person's team developed their Support Plan after engaging in significant information gathering activities (i.e., person centered plan, functional behavior assessment, curriculum review). Some of the sample Plans include sections that describe how the information that was gathered laid the foundation for the Support Plan, others do not. Please be aware that good Behavior Support Plans can only be developed after engaging in an information-gathering process. Also, each Support Plan is unique, created for a specific focus person in a specific context. Therefore, the Plans should not be replicated or copied, but used to guide and inform the development of your own Plan.These Behavior Support Plans are currently available as HTML documents.
